Our social studies theme for the year is, "My School and Family." Within this topic we will learn about how we get along in school, why it's important to learn from each other, why schools have rules, how families are special, how they change and different family traditions. Students will participate in a variety of hands on activities to develop a better understanding of the material in addition to working in small groups to problem solve and present to the class.
